9. From the desk of Principal
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today”. Hailing from a family of teachers, professors and educators, my dream of setting up an ideal school for the future generation began at a very early stage in life. Seeing the dedication and devotion of my grandfather Late. Jamun Prasad Sah. The school was built with a vision to make it an ultimate destination for Class-Nursery to XII where they could not only get the best quality education but also the right kind of atmosphere to grow up in. I personally believe that the initial years of a child’s life are extremely crucial because it is during this time that the foundation for a better future is built. A strong foundation will help a child to win the battles of life with strength and fortitude. At St. Xavier's we not only prepare a child for high school but we prepare them for life. We try to inculcate strong values and good habits in them that will last for a life time. Coming to education we believe that education can be imparted but not enforced. In my opinion- ‘a child’s mind is just not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled’. In order to ignite this desire for learning among toddlers, we at Tulip Hall constantly endeavour to make learning a fun process. We follow the playway method of education where a child learns through various activities, games and audio visual methods. Our aim is to bring out the best in each child and give them the required exposure and confidence to display their inherent talents and skills. Finally we strive not only to provide a child with good schooling but beautiful childhood he or she truely deserves. In ensuring this we organize frequent open house meeting to guide parents and even provide psychological counseling to children as and when required. We have a large team of dedicated, efficient and devoted staff who ensures that your child gets the best possible care. Our teacher student ratio is surprisingly low ensuring individual attention. So far I would like to believe that I have been successful in creating a school that is just not a mere educational institute but a safe home away from home for children where they can get a happy ,vibrant childhood and a treasure trove of beautiful memories that they can cherish for the rest of their lives.
